The fastest route is the free Downloader app (by AFTVnews, orange icon) from the Amazon Appstore. Condensed steps:
1. Unlock Developer Options
On newer Fire OS versions they're hidden: go to Settings → My Fire TV → About and click your device name 7 times. Then open Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options.

Why Sideload? Why Isn't It in the Amazon Appstore Yet?
Honest answer: the Fire TV build of StreamVision is currently distributed directly from our website while the Amazon Appstore listing is being prepared. Direct distribution lets us ship Fire TV fixes immediately — v30.0.0, for example, hardened Fire TV compatibility, added MediaSession support so the remote's play/pause/rewind buttons work properly, and disabled Google Cast on Fire OS (which has no Play Services).
Sideloading an APK you obtained from its developer is legal and completely standard on Fire TV — Amazon itself ships the Developer Options and "Install unknown apps" toggles that make it possible. It's the same mechanism developers and testers use every day.
